Winners Dreams Come True - Wire FM | Feb 2008

A pair of budding entrepreneurs from Warrington have landed themselves an office suite for a year at the plush new St James Court at Wilderspool Causeway and an advertising package on the station.

It's a dream come true for James Gordon, aged 19, and John Flanagan, 20, who only started their web design business SiteHire.co.uk at the beginning of February and already have half a dozen clients.

James, from Callands, said: "We're delighted to win the competition on 107.2 Wire FM because we couldn't afford offices like these at St James Court. We had planned to work from home but having an office now means it's a real business.

"Now the business is really taking off. We've just got our first client, Crosfields Junior Football Club, up and running with their website at www.crosfieldsjfc.com and we are hoping to target eight new clients a month.

Brian Paige, senior programmer at 107.2 Wire FM, said: "We were impressed by the standard of entries for the Business Start Up challenge but we felt James and John had real potential to make a success of their new venture.
